The Challenge

Quro Medical operates regulated digital healthcare platforms used by clinicians and patients interacting with sensitive health data. Their flagship product, QM Insight, was built on Expo React Native — functional, but increasingly difficult to maintain, poor on web performance, and a liability for SEO and long-term scalability. In parallel, the broader platform lacked consistent UI patterns, leading to duplicated logic, slow feature delivery, and growing technical debt across the frontend.

Our Solution

Played a key role in the migration of QM Insight from Expo React Native to Next.js, improving web performance, SEO visibility, and long-term maintainability. Alongside the migration, designed and implemented a reusable UI component library that standardized design patterns across the platform — reducing duplicated logic and giving the team a consistent foundation to build on. Also developed and shipped secure, type-safe full-stack features using TypeScript and tRPC, and integrated Google FHIR and Google Cloud Healthcare APIs within a serverless AWS environment to ensure structured, reliable handling of regulated patient data. Contributed to architectural decisions around authentication, authorization, and state management, and introduced automated testing to strengthen release confidence in production.
